Guest guest
I can't believe I think I've spotted a little bit of mold right on top of my new SCOBY. I believed I did everything by the book. I took everyone's advice and the only thing I can even remotely think of is the kitchen garbage bucket. They both are at total opposite ends of the room and still. The only other place I can think of to place them and I'm concerned about the bit of carpet they'd be exposed to, which would be worse? The kitchen and its smells and the garbage bucket, or a bit of carpeting and the rest wood floor? There are some smells in there because it's the living room, but nothing in comparison to the kitchen. Does anybody have any other experiences like this that they have gone through that finally alleviated their mold problem. I recall a woman who kept having mold problems, and I think she finally moved her SCOBYs to the laundry room. I don't have a lot of options to work with, so any help would most certainly be appreciated. I don't want a reacurring mold situation. I don't know what I'm going to do now with this situation. Please help. Thanks, I know you all are very helpful and supportive, thanks in advance.
