Hi Sandy,

Thanks for the tips! How often do you have eggs for breakfast and do you only

have the whites? I swear this is the most confusing meal of the day!!! :) I'm

going to try Special K, as well :)

Thanks!

Hey Jill,

Yeah you gave me a good laugh!! :) Reminds me of my friends. You eat all that

at breakfast?? Sheesh! :) LOL.... It sounds like the righ idea though-- there

are alot of people who swear by having like Steak and potatoes for breakfast

and fruit for dinner. And technically it makes sense. I mean why would you

want to have all that energy when you are going to sleep? You'd want it in

the morning with the whole day ahead of you. I guess its just strange to

think of having chicken for breakfast! :)

:)

Eat whatever you like or crave would be my first answer

But from my own experience would suggest a cereal or oatmeal high in fiber

(read those labels) along with the fruit/juice or a fruit smoothie made with

yogurt that can have many other ingredients like ground flaxseed, flaxseed

oil, 's Bran, juice, skim milk, protein powders, etc

Cereal can provide healthy carbs that are good for you...forget the Fruit

Oatmeal too-the slow cook kind, not the flavored kind (full of sugar)...

It depends on the type of cereal. Since I've been on Weight Watchers, I've

been eating Special K. It's high fiber, low cal, low carb.

Eggs are a good source of protein.

>-- no sausage-- fat again--

I'd leave the sausage out.

Cereal and fruit. Low-fat or skim milk. Fat-free yogurt.

How's that?

Hi ,

Glad to have made you smile earlier.

You should have a good breakfast,

apparently you're metabolism is highest in

a morning so needs lots of fuel,

it's also able to use what you eat more

effectively and less likely to 'store' it,

you've been asleep for several hours so

have not had any fuel (fast) so it's cruel

not to eat - you're depriving your body.

Personally I try to make breakfast my

main meal (grilled bacon, lean sausage

from my butcher, egg, baked beans)

of the day, with salad and tuna for lunch,

then if I'm going to class a light snack,

bowl of Frosties/fish & rice (if I'm really hungry)

or even slimfast if I'm pushed for time,

with a late supper of fruit & iced dessert

with snack of fruit in between.

I eat a lot don't I ? - still last year I lost 2

dress sizes with this, workouts & weights.

It's the best time of day to eat, and since

I've been having breakfast the last couple of

years I've been and felt lots better all round.

better years ago!

C,

I usually eat a banana and a bowl of cereal for breakfast. My

favorite new cereal is Grape Nut Oh's....I don't really care for

regular grape nuts, but I love the Oh's...go figure! I also like

Raisin Bran Crunch and Multi-grain cheerios. I don't think you have

to worry about a bowl of cereal being too many carbs, although I do

always measure out 1 cup of my cereal and 1 cup of skim milk.

Otherwise, if you just fill the bowl up...you might be getting 2-3

servings which would be too much! Also, if you like non-fat yogurt

that's always good with some fruit. Lots of people make smoothies

with protein powder and milk and fruit all mixed together! Also,

eggs are ok a couple times a week and they do make lowfat sausage if

you really love sausage. You could also have a bagel (or a half a

bagel if they're the good NY kind) and some light cream cheese or 1

Tbls peanut butter! Ok, that's a few suggestions for you....but,

definitely eat more than just a piece of fruit, especially if you're

working out in the morning! It will really help kick start your

day :)

who eats breakfast every day, but needs to try to get a little

variety in her diet because she sticks to basically the same thing

every day :)

Speaking of Kashi's (which is pretty silly for me to say, since I brought it

up), the cheapest I have found it is $1.99 at Trader Joe's...other

supermarkets carry it for $3-4...so good deal!

Would you like to come vaccuum my house??? It REALLY needs it! lol!

The cost of a box of that is much cheaper than trix or fruity pebbles etc!

I got it for under $3 just yesterday at walmart....
