I hope everyone had a nice holiday.

The Coalition would like to announce the following event:

Saturday February 2, 2002

Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADD/ADHD, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome

A Medical Epidemic and The Neuro-Immune Connection

Update: Current Effective Treatments and the Future of Neuro-Immune Disease

Treatments

'We Must Take Action Now!!'

This One Day Event/Video Conference, broadcast from Los Angeles, is an

education and information session on (Neuro-Immune Dysfunction

Syndromes) and the scientific link to Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders

(ASD) including PDD-NOS, ADD/ADHD, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome/CFIDS, Speech

and Language Delay, Learning Disabilities and Social and

Developmental Delays. Current Effective Treatment Options along with

information about Future Exciting Treatment Availabilities will be

presented.

This will also an opportunity to hear about the upcoming and exciting 2002

plans for the Research Institute and Parent Coalition.

The event is for parents, patients, medical, education and therapeutic

professionals and will feature a presentation by Dr. Goldberg,

Director of the Scientific and Medical Advisory Board of the Research

Institute along with other speakers and presentations. I will provide a

detailed list of presenters and discussion topics shortly.

If you are interested in setting up a location to participate in the Video

Conference event, please contact me immediately. In brief, the technical

requirements are as follows: The location must have Video Conferencing

equipment and one of the following: A high-speed internet connection or ISDN

Dial-Out Capability ( Min 384k). There are may commercial location available

but they can get quite costly. Many Community Colleges, Almost All

universities, many community and government centers and hospitals have these

types of facilities and will allow Non-Profit organizations to use their

facilities for a nominal fee. Also, many corporations now have these types

of facilities and might certainly allow week-end use at small or no charge.

Check with your local hospital, college/university etc. but don't forget

your employer or friends who might work for a larger company.

The board would like to make this an exciting 2002 kick-off event and

my hope is that we can secure at least 8-10 locations worldwide to

participate.

Please contact me immediately to discuss this event. I can be reached at

marc@... or feel free to contact me at 818-951-8579. I look forward

to hearing from all who are interested.

A Happy and Safe New Year to all.
