I will provide a detailed list of presenters and discussion topics shortly. If you are interested in setting up a location to participate in the Video Conference event, please contact me immediately. In brief, the technical requirements are as follows: The location must have Video Conferencing equipment and one of the following: A high-speed internet connection or ISDN Dial-Out Capability ( Min 384k). There are may commercial location available but they can get quite costly. Many Community Colleges, Almost All universities, many community and government centers and hospitals have these types of facilities and will allow Non-Profit organizations to use their facilities for a nominal fee. Also, many corporations now have these types of facilities and might certainly allow week-end use at small or no charge. Check with your local hospital, college/university etc. but don't forget your employer or friends who might work for a larger company. The board would like to make this an exciting 2002 kick-off event and my hope is that we can secure at least 8-10 locations worldwide to participate. Please contact me immediately to discuss this event. I can be reached at marc@... or feel free to contact me at 818-951-8579. I look forward to hearing from all who are interested. A Happy and Safe New Year to all. * Marc Share President & Executive Director Research Institute and Parents Coalition 'Working To Give Our Children A Future'
