Glass Container

Hi All,

I found a 3L jar at a yard sale with Carlton Glass on the bottom...Paid $1.00

for it but wondered if the poinsettia in a basket design on the outside would be

a problem. It looks to be 60's maybe 70's vintage. It has a plastic lid which

makes no difference.. but would you think the container contained  lead? I

thought I got a great deal on a very pretty brewing container...especially with

the holidays coming up...Would you use it to make kt??
