Very nice and warming welcomes. As for that " Chained2fat " thing on egroups website, well...someday soon that WILL change because I'll break those 'chains' :-) Well, felt motivated enough to do a full Tae-bo Basic live Vol.1 session first thing when I woke up this morning. I also remained on the floor when starts doing the ab work and continued with my own ab routine to work all of the abdomen. Then I added on the free weights with some chest exercises. Total workout time including the stretching was about 60 minutes. I'm VERY proud of myself for that because its been awhile, since I've done that. I also attempted to do a second workout today, but only did about 15 minutes of cardio. I think thats enough for today, since I am still beginning and I don't want to push myself too hard to the point of injury. I have a question about this list. I'm on another list where people send out emails on Fridays letting everyone know how much weight they've lost. And there's a website with a chart that lists everyone's " starting point " and current weight. I was just curious if this list does something like that as well? Talk to you soon, Dan PS...After being away from my email for a day and a half, I can now understand why people would put this list as " read on the web only " . I can't believe how many messages were sitting in my box! But thats great! I'm glad to see this is such an active list. >> Hi Dan !! You sound as if you are doing so great !! Keep up the good work !! As for the friday emails with the weight loss stats, we don't really do that but from time to time we post our inches and how many we lost. Many of us go by that instead of the weight loss - some of us do track that also though !! I love this list too and there are alot of emails everyday but I love that !!! As for the weigh in thing, we try not to get to caught up in the scale around here. But anytime we see a loss in pounds or inches, we post it. We also " brag " a lot whenever we do something we feel proud of. Bragging is supposed to be a weekly thing, but some people have been slacking lately Keep up the great work and continue to post! By now you have heard that we all don't report our weight loss weekly. Someone people do though, or they report their inches lost. You can if you want. We'd love to hear your progress. I am trying hard to get away from the scale obsession, so I look at other things as signs of progress, e.g., how my clothes fit, muscle definition, stamina, strenght, balance improvements. Do what works for you and we will support it. Elena

Dan, Lots of us are trying to break the habit of being addicted to the scale...so we like to look at other things (like fitting into a smaller size, losing inches, increased stamina, better balance, etc.) as a way of charting our progress and what we do is brag about it when we accomplish something. We still post messages if we lose pounds, too, so please feel free to post your progress and we will cheer you on
