Adding a score component to an alpha synch design

Hello everyone!I'm trying to get an alpha synchrony design that Pete helped me build have an integrated score component built into it.  I desire a score counter that keeps track of the amount of time, or creates a number based on the amount of time, that an individual has been in a state of alpha synchrony.  The design that I am using now sums the channels and gives feedback when the user breaks a summed alpha threshold of 50u, the idea being that this circumstance would only occur when all four channels are peaking simultaneously thus being in synch.  I believe that the score object is my best bet for doing this but I am worried that if a user were to stay above threshold without wavering that the score would cease to climb.   does anyone have any experience like this with this score object in Bioexplorer?

Oh and Pete I'm thinking that it may be impossible to put a counter on your version of the four channel alpha synchrony design that measures synchrony directly using the coherence object and the phase difference output.  My reasoning is that the double threshold style of " reward " bar is always being broken through when the person being trained is out of synch on the positive side of the threshold.  This makes the score go up when people are in synch and when they break out of synch in one direction.  Do you have any thoughts on this?

Thanks to anyone willing to help me out! Zumbach

,If you set up the score object coming out of the Pass/Fail output from your threshold, in the properties set Time HIgh and set the Period to 1.0 second.  It will increment your score by 1 each time the target is met for 1 second.

Hi ,

With the double threshold the threshold only sends a 1 (pass) forward when the

signal is between the bars. With the score/counter object set to " time high " the

time will be counted as long as 1 is on. This means time above (outside) the bar

will not be counted. You can test this by lowering the top bar and watching the

display.

Thank you Pete and Rah you guys are so helpful!  I have gotten the design working well and have the score functioning now! Thanks again, ZOn Mon, Mar 26, 2012 at 12:59 PM, wheelihan82 <wheelihan82@...> wrote:
