Guest guest
Well, if your description of a lightweight is someone under 250, I was a lightweight on my first visit to Dr K at 248. Between the initial visit and surgery, I had enough " last meals " to gain another 20 lbs! No one has ever broached me about being a lightweight or taking another's spot on the surgery schedule. While I had high b/p, diabetes, sleep apnea, aching knees, etc. I really had no life-threatening co-morbids to place me high on a priority list. I am grateful every day for my DS surgery - not so grateful for the hernia/tt at this time! Bobbe - <115.5 pounds> from 268.5 at DS 3/12/03. Highest weight 285 in '98 <147.5> Don't postpone joy.
