SABRINA YOU DONT HAVE TO BE OLD TO HAVE A HEART ATTACK I KNOW LOTS OF PEOPLE

AROUND YOUR AGE WHO HAVE HAD A NUMBER OF HEART ATTACKS ... OK NOT TO SCARE

YOU BUT I HAVE KNOW SOME ONE WHO HAD HER FIRST HEART ATTACK AT AGE 2 SO

ITS NOT IMPOSSIBLE AND I SERIOUSLY THINK IF IT IS OR WAS ONE YOU WOULD

DEFINANTLY KNOW IT IS HAPPENING TO YOU DONT SCARE YOURSELF INTO THINKING

THAT IS WHATS HAPPENING GET CHECKED

Weird thing...last night after talking abut this all day I had one of those attacks. Friends were over and I got really stressed out due to a combination of things. (It's OK now though) Of course I coudln't just pop in the 8 minute work out right then and there...I will do that in the future if I can..I just had Mike rub my back and it helped get rid of the stress.

, if I have one of these panic attacks when I'm at home I do the 8-minute tape. I figure if I got all this bad energy I might as well put it to good use. Out and about... When breathing doesn't work...I go into a bathroom stall (as isolated as I can get) and do speed bags for a few minutes. It has really helped get rid of that excess energy much faster.

-!

-My Hubbie--Was rushed to Hospital on 3 occasions with Chest

Pains--actually! The third time he Refused to go,and the Ambulance

that Had found him in the Street Bought Him Home--Long story!

Anyway! The first two times-He was dripped up as He had Had

Imncredible pains and Collapsed...and they Found nothing wrong

It turned out he was suffering from Painc and Anxiety attacks

He Bought a Book called--Coping with panic Attacks, anfd Learn't all

about Hypo-Ventilation and how to Breath Correctly.

he would sit With a Paper Bag over His Mouth and Nose to Correct his

Breathing--have you Tried that yet?

He suffered with this for around 4 years In all--we had had ALOT Of

Problems which Inevitablt Took thier Toll on His Health--and this was

His Way Of Dealing with them--Fight or Flight!!!

He Flies--I Get Angry and Then Cry! what a Pair Hey?

Anyway! Try Using a Paper Bag For Breathing---Plastic WON'T Work! LOL

I have anxiety attacks often ( one of many side effects from lupus) and i

dont see how smoking worsens it actually the nicotin helps me calm down as

does the caffine. its just the way I deal with my attacks.... and i get them

often

To me, smoking can have a relaxing effect or it can make me jittery depending

on how much I smoked. I think the best way to avoid panic attacks is to

really look at the cause of them when you are not having one.

Who now limits her smoking to an occassional cigar on VERY special occassions

since she is marrying someone who neither drinks nor smokes.

When I was pregnant with Skylar they had a hard time hearing her heart

rate, so I had to go have a non-stress test (I had no idea what that was, so

I was scared something was wrong with the baby). So, I go get hooked up to

this machine that monitors her heart rate and I had to stay on it for an hour

or so. Well, it just turned out that Skylar was a mellow baby....just like

Mom! She would hang out at a certain heart-rate (I can't remember what it

was now, but it was lower than it was supposed to be) but every time she

moved it would go up a little just like it was supposed to be. The nurse

came in and said " well, you just have a very mellow baby who is perfectly

content " . She's been like that ever since :)

who is blessed to have such an easy going baby (well, I guess I should say

WAS blessed as it seems she might be entering the terrible 2's a tad bit

early....she definitely has a strong will and they say it comes from mama) >>

SHANNON

I WAS PUT UNDER A NON STRESS TEST WITH MY SECOND DAUGHTER SHE JUST WOULDNT

MOVE THEY WANTED TO INDUCE THAT DAY .. BUT COME TO FIND OUT SHE WAS JUST A

LAZY BABY ..... AND STILL IS ... AND SHE DOESNT WANT TO DO ANYTHING THAT

ISNT NECCESARY .

SHE WENT THROUGH THE TERRIBLE 2 FOR 2 AND A HALF YRS AND I WONDER IF SHE IS

STILL GOING THROUGH THEM BUT FOR THE MOST PART SHE IS VERY EASY GOING
