Guest guest
Weird thing...last night after talking abut this all day I had one of those attacks. Friends were over and I got really stressed out due to a combination of things. (It's OK now though) Of course I coudln't just pop in the 8 minute work out right then and there...I will do that in the future if I can..I just had Mike rub my back and it helped get rid of the stress. , if I have one of these panic attacks when I'm at home I do the 8-minute tape. I figure if I got all this bad energy I might as well put it to good use. Out and about... When breathing doesn't work...I go into a bathroom stall (as isolated as I can get) and do speed bags for a few minutes. It has really helped get rid of that excess energy much faster. I think the best way to avoid panic attacks is to really look at the cause of them when you are not having one. Who now limits her smoking to an occassional cigar on VERY special occassions since she is marrying someone who neither drinks nor smokes. So, I go get hooked up to this machine that monitors her heart rate and I had to stay on it for an hour or so. Well, it just turned out that Skylar was a mellow baby....just like Mom! She would hang out at a certain heart-rate (I can't remember what it was now, but it was lower than it was supposed to be) but every time she moved it would go up a little just like it was supposed to be. The nurse came in and said " well, you just have a very mellow baby who is perfectly content " . She's been like that ever since who is blessed to have such an easy going baby (well, I guess I should say WAS blessed as it seems she might be entering the terrible 2's a tad bit early....she definitely has a strong will and they say it comes from mama) >> SHANNON I WAS PUT UNDER A NON STRESS TEST WITH MY SECOND DAUGHTER SHE JUST WOULDNT MOVE THEY WANTED TO INDUCE THAT DAY .. BUT COME TO FIND OUT SHE WAS JUST A LAZY BABY ..... AND STILL IS ... AND SHE DOESNT WANT TO DO ANYTHING THAT ISNT NECCESARY . SHE WENT THROUGH THE TERRIBLE 2 FOR 2 AND A HALF YRS AND I WONDER IF SHE IS STILL GOING THROUGH THEM BUT FOR THE MOST PART SHE IS VERY EASY GOING ROMIE WHO FOR THE MOST PART HAS GOOD KIDS
