Yes, lately I have had the feeling like I am struggling to breather, but I'm also tired. It hurts to even laugh. One of my co-workers thinks it might be pluresey (spelling?) which is an infection of the lung. I have had REALLY bad allergies so that would make sense. I'm going to try to see if the nurse at tha capitol can't help me or reassure me. I'm learning to smile an chuckle silently to myself. I need somthing to keep my mind of " the click " noise in my heart. Every little pang until I get to the doctor is going to freak me out. I think I forgot to add that the nurse I saw at the capitol said I was in incredible shape. (Thats always something you want to hear after a strange man has had his hand up your sweater). Guest guest
, Be very careful!! This chest pain could be nothing BUT it could be very serious!!! If you experience it again, STOP what you're doing and lay down or at least sit down. If the pain stops too it could be a condition called Angina Pectoris. Angina pain happens when your heart muscle is not receiving enough oxygen. Note when you have this pain, whether it's during activity, resting, after eating, etc.... Chest pain can be caused by a lot of different things including heart, lungs, digestion, gallbladder, muscles, etc... Don't take any chances my new friend. Please see the Dr especially if this continues. Sherry, who is the new Patch in nursing so Barb kinda said. -- In tae-bo_onegroups, galofgop@a... wrote: > Help!!! Please get it checked out asap you're too precious ;-) Take care Jill

You can never be too careful with chest pains....it could be anything, but it's better to find out what you're dealing with....just so it doesn't stress you out! Hopefully the doctor will be able to tell you what it is and tell you how to get it to stop! I hope you are feeling better soon

Guest guest
Wanted to throw in my two cents....I get these too..like right under my left side of my chest...and I only get them when I am really stressed out about something. I have chalked it up to stress and anxiety...but when I get them I hate them....feels like it is all through my chest and back and while it hurts it is mostly uncomfortable..I usually stop whatever I am doing and breath deep and it tends to go away. I guess it is my bodies way of telling me to calm down. Guest guest
It doesn't sound like an anxiety attack. You could have pulled a muscle away from your chest. If you do panic about it though you might just get an anxiety attack several years ago and it makes you feel like you are having a heart attack. Guest guest
Re: Re: chest pain (ot) Glad that things are OK with you !! When I was pregnant they always picked up on my heart murmur. Other then when I am pregnant you can't even hear it though. I have really low blood pressure too...Once I had a doctor come in and check my blood pressure in the morning cause that's what they always do (you know wake you up at 5 AM...ack!) Anyway..this guy takes my readings..my blood pressure was like 90/45...LOL He had to take it again and asked me if I was alive.... , When I was pregnant with Skylar they had a hard time hearing her heart rate, so I had to go have a non-stress test (I had no idea what that was, so I was scared something was wrong with the baby). So, I go get hooked up to this machine that monitors her heart rate and I had to stay on it for an hour or so. Well, it just turned out that Skylar was a mellow baby....just like Mom! She would hang out at a certain heart-rate (I can't remember what it was now, but it was lower than it was supposed to be) but every time she moved it would go up a little just like it was supposed to be. The nurse came in and said "well, you just have a very mellow baby who is perfectly content". She's been like that ever since who is blessed to have such an easy going baby (well, I guess I should say WAS blessed as it seems she might be entering the terrible 2's a tad bit early....she definitely has a strong will and they say it comes from mama)
Guest guest
Jittery yes..like I can't sit still. Drives me nuts...I could be doing anything at the moment, laying down or sitting up and as soon as my body hits a certain stress point there it is. I usually get it only once every 3 months or so...Must not be all that stressed out or something. And YES..smoking makes it worse....I have tried to crack my bad and if it doesn't go away with that then I know that I am having stress related issues...then I stop and breath! > > , if I have one of these panic attacks when I'm at home I do the 8-minute tape. I figure if I got all this bad energy I might as well put it to good use. Out and about... When breathing doesn't work...I go into a bathroom stall (as isolated as I can get) and do speed bags for a few minutes. It has really helped get rid of that excess energy much faster.
