hey some moves actually can be modified to have the speed and more

like the double knee raise-roundhouse with the same leg

I like to do the fast speed without touching down

Barb

who goes both ways when modifying LOL

Yet another piece of wonderful advice, thank you

You right about the move where he squatted. It was impossible to do that one

in double time. He was talking and not doing it himself so I don't think he

realized it. Form is better than speed in my opinion!

, I couldn't agree with you more. The speed only came to me after

months and months of hard work and muscle building and getting the form

down (although it's still a work in progress for me on some of his new

moves, like any involving pushups). I like the challenge, but I guess

that's because, like you, I was first attracted to taebo by wanting to

move like the people on the infomercial. I just love being able to move

like them. But, other people are attracted to taebo for different

reasons. There's something in it for everyone, I guess.

Hi Elena!

I can relate to it being a work in progress. I think that's why it

stays so fresh for us and we don't get bored..there is always room

for improvement..whether it's speed, form, gaining more flexibility,

or working on a new twist that throws in. I cancelled my auto

ship for a while because I enjoy working on a tape until I feel like

I have conquered it. I have enough of an assortment now that I can

switch back and forth between the tapes and work on the areas that

need improvement without getting too far ahead of myself.

You're right that there's something in it for everyone. The Tae-Bo

TV thing would drive me crazy because there are so many new workouts,

if I only worked out to those I wouldn't be able to " conquer " them in

that short of a period of time and wouldn't get that sense of

accomplishment. Overtime that could make me lose interest in it. For

someone else the varity might be what keeps them going.

I'm interested in how your kickboxing classes are going...grrr..I

haven't had alot of luck getting around this board to follow all the

discussions, but I'm going to try to find that thread to see how your

making out.

Take Care,

it is starting to drive me crazy and I missed half of them!!

I also only have half of the LIVE series

I'm trying to document what I like and don't like about each work-out as I do

them now so I can choose more wisely in the future but with 8 new ones a

month may be losing that battle too

Barb

who can forget within minutes after doing a tape of what was in it if I don't

write it down (sort of like a dream)

Keep a journal about the tape right after you did the workout. I have 16 new

tapes form Taebo TV and am so excited every Friday and Monday when a new one

starts. I tape if, then watch the tape (jotting down in my journal some

things about the tape) the I do the tape and write in my journal how the

workout felt. It's been a good system for me.

Hi Barb!

If and when it becomes available here I would have to do the same

thing. I never feel like I get a good workout in the first time I do

a new tape. I guess I'm just new tape challenged. ;) I would sign up

for it though because the value just can't be beat.

-who is TRYING to wait patiently for the combat to be

released..I have the wraps, gloves and bag..I want my Tae-Bo Combat!!!
