Blood Type Diet

Hi,

I am new to this forum but

not to alternative

therapies. I searched the

forum for any reference to

the blood type diet and

could not find it

mentioned. I am not

affiliated with Dr.

D'Adamo, but staying on

his blood type diet has

been a quantum leap in my

search for better health,

and I thought others might

benefit from it.

I went on the diet about

seven or eight years ago,

and could not believe the

very nearly immediate

improvement in my health.

There is no need to go

into my history; I won't

bore you with that, but

the difference was as

night and day. Within a

week I knew I had found an

awesome answer to improved

health, better immune

system, better energy,

and, for me, effortless

weight loss. The best part

about it is that, after a

small initial expenditure,

it is free, because one is

buying food anyway; one

just buys different, not

more expensive food.

I do, for the most part,

follow the diet strictly,

at least regarding the

foods to avoid. I think

people who are having

severe health issues who

want partially to follow

the program are just

kidding themselves.

The website to visit to

find out about this diet

is

http://www.dadamo.com

www.dadamo.com

The best book that I know

of that he has published

is " Live Right for Your

Type. " It costs around $25

new in hardback, but you

might find it for less as

a used book. I regard this

as his best book because

it is divided

into " secretor " and " non-

secretor " food lists; the

secretor status changes

the food list somewhat.

All of the food lists for

all blood types are in

this book. You need the

book, even though the food

lists are on the web site.

The book is just way more

convenient, plus it

contains the history and

explanation of the blood

type program.

You need to know your

blood type (don't just

guess!) and your secretor

status in order to do the

diet correctly. Secretor

status is determined by

whether you secrete your

immune factors into body

fluids, and is most

inexpensively determined

by a test sold by North

American Pharmacal, the

Secretor Test. You can

type " secretor test " into

the search box at

dadamo.com to find the

test. It costs around

$40.00. You send a saliva

sample in to determine

your secretor status, and

everything you need is in

the test kit, so there is

no other expense involved

with the test.

Once you have the book and

the test paid for, you

simply change to the foods

on your list, and avoid

the foods on the avoid

list. There is no

additional expense

necessary. The web site

sells blood type-specific

bars, shakes, supplements,

etc., but I never purchase

these. I just read

ingredients of prepared

foods and shop carefully

when I go to the

supermarket.

I can see that some on

this list are suffering,

and I believe this program

can alleviate a lot of

that suffering. It

certainly has done that

for me. As a health-food

store manager, I have

recommended this to

hundreds of people who

have received help from it

as I have.

This was life changing in

a major way for me, and I

will never be able to

express my gratitude

enough for the knowledge

that Dr. D'Adamo gave me.

I hope this message helps

someone else.

Miria
