Guest guest
Hi Beth, I used to live in the Briargate/D20 area. I never did anything differently. But, it took longer to get fizzy. Lack of oxygen, I think. I never bottled when I lived there, drank it straight from the jar. I'll be at the hot air balloon classic if they have it this year. Worked at HP on Rockrimmon and got transferred to TX. It ferments faster in this hot, humid temp, so I started bottling. I only bottle to the point where the neck meets the bottle - if that makes sense. On Tue, Jul 21, 2009 at 10:52 AM, kbethw <BWilcox@...> wrote: > > > Hi Group! Guest guest
Thanks, , for making sure my ATTITUDE is in check LOL! The bottles that seeped out of the top are plastic (from a KT site) and were the very first ones I'd filled. Ever since, I've been watchful, burping any that get left out. Don't want any bucha bombs. Our current hot weather has really put my continuous brewer in overdrive, so now I'm just bottling and putting in the fridge. LaShan, I've noticed a lack of fizz, even with bottles I've left out for a few days, so I wondered about our lack of oxygen. Could be me (esp. since I'm burping the bottles a couple of times a day), but then the altitude can be an excuse for all sorts of things! Bottling til neck meets the bottle - I know exactly what you mean and that's what I generally do now. Oo, sorry you had to leave COS for Texas. Come to the Balloon Classic and get re-invigorated! [Not being snarky about Texas; I just love Colorado weather ] Thanks to everyone who contributes on this list. For the past 1 1/2 years I've drunk ACV every day (still do that 1st thing every morning b/c my joints love it), so it was easy to adjust to the taste of KT. I'm really enjoying KT and looking forward to increased physical benefits. Beth & her 'Bucha
