Wow! some great info there Karma...... where can I order Udo's online? I know some have posted the link in posts past, but I didnt save them, and the one I did try to access wasnt available.

Tks :)~~

also, what is the name of his book? I would like to get that also :)

Hi Tina,

I take it straight, but I like the taste. In his book on page 306 he gives an oil/protein mixture. He recommends this for athletes and people trying to add muscle and get rid of fat. He says:

"This mixture makes a nutritious base for use at any meal. The following is for readers without dairy allergies:

20 measures (spoons, cups, or buckets) skim milk yogurt. This contains about 6% protein.

2-3 measures fresh oil blend

Mix ingredients together until oil is no longer visible. That's all there is too it.

Well, that counts me out. :)

I guess what I could start doing is mashing up my microwaved potatoes and mixing

the oil in that.

,

Cheapest place I've been able to find it is

http://www.vitamingalore.com/itemlist.asp?ltr=U . I ordered it on the 16th and

paid for 2nd day air, but didn't get it til today. When I asked about it last

Thursday, they said they had run out and had to wait for another shipment and

that they had sent it and I should be receiving it soon. Would have been nice

if they had let me know that they had run out, rather than waiting for me to

contact them to find out why it was late.

RE: Udo oil help

The name of his book is "Fats that Heal, Fats that Kill by Udo Erasmus I will send a link to get $5.00 off from half.com AND a coupon for free shipping, but the shipping one expires today. They have a couple of copies of Body for Life at half.com so the free shipping and $5.00 might come in handy to someone who doesn't have it already.

I buy my Udo's from Vitaminshoppe.com I think they sell it at Vitamins.com too, can't remember.

Don't ask me! I can barely handle gel caps. I taste and smell them for

hours after I eat them. Makes me want to divorce myself. I'd do it if Ol'

Fish Breath got the cardio!!!!!! :=)

that they add it to their oatmeal. But I don't eat oatmeal. :) Any

suggestions on how to consume it? I have a feeling that trying to

swallow a tablespoon of oil by itself is gonna make me yak all over

Wait, are you eating it or rubbing it into your skin and hair? Does it work

that way? Hmm, I wonder which tastes better, Pond's facial cream or Udo's. ROFL

Oh sure, laugh at my misery as I'm sitting here hacking and snarking from the

oil. :P

Actually, its not really that bad. (Maybe if I say it enough, I'll start to

believe it.) ;) I think mostly it reminds me of being punished as a kid and

having to choke down mass quantities of castor oil. Fnarg!

Ugh, that's what I've been smelling. Paint coming out my pores! lol

>I expect your were kidding, but thought I would pass this information along

Yeah, I was kidding. :) I also have chronically dry skin, and living in the

frozen tundra definitely doesn't help, so hopefully the Udo's will help that.

Heaven help me if it makes my hair oilier though, I can already scrape the oil

out once a day and use it as an all-purpose household lubricant. ;)

Yup. Unfortunately for me, because of my gastric bypass, I can't take pills

larger than an M & M, and since you can't break gel caps, guess what? Yup, gag me

with an Udo spoon-ful. ;)

Tell me about it. I remember one period when I was 12, they thought I was

faking being sick (but I wasn't), so in order to punish me and entice me to

admit that I was, they fed me a tablespoon of castor oil every two hours,

followed by a gallon of warm water, which I had a half hour to drink. I held

out for two days, then finally " admitted " that I was faking just so I wouldn't

have to take the wretched stuff anymore. It wasn't until about 2 years ago that

I could finally stand drinking plain water again, and even now, it has to be

extremely cold, almost icy.

Sheesh, the things that people do to kids sometimes, eh?
