That class sounds awesome! I'm going to look around here and see if I can find something like that...it sounds really fun! You keep working out like this and you'll be right up in the front row the next time we go to those tapings
Guest guest
Elena-I'm exhausted after reading about your kickboxing class. What an experience and I'm thrilled that you found your weekly class. Dang it, I wish they had a class like that where I live. You definitely have come a long way and I'm so proud of you. Debbie-who is so happy to hear that Elena will not be taking the "BootCamp class" LOL.
Guest guest
<Well I survived the kickboxing class. I am speechless and exhausted. It lasted 2 hours! The first 1 1/2 hours was pure aerobic kickboxing with tons of kicks (all types), lunges, and even hop kicks. She made us do 20 minutes of paired shadow boxing/kicking near the end and most of us had to fake it when she wasn't looking because we were so exhausted. Elena, who learned that the same instructor also teaches a class called " Boot Camp, " which I definitely will not be attending.> WOW! That sounds like a great class! I wonder if I can find anything like that here in SD. There's a karate studio downstairs from the actor's studio where I'm studying and I've seen them doing some Tae-Bo moves, only very slowly. I don't know if they are tired and just about to finish up or if they just don't know what it's all about. Luci

Most of these places give a guest pass or free class for first timers. Also, look into health clubs and community recreation or YMCA classes for cardio or aerobic kickboxing. Gold's gym near me lets you pay for classes as you go; the community recreation classes are usually reasonable. Elena, who goes to another cardio kickboxing class with a slightly easier instructor (and just a 75 minute class) tomorrow tonight using a guest pass and can't wait. Guest guest
may have been Tai Chi? Barb who wonders if Luci heard of " The Last Session " which had a successful run in Laguna (sp?) near SD I don't think it was Tai Chi. They were doing the 3 knee raises and punch combo that gets me really energized, but they weren't putting anything into it, just going through the motions. Could be that they were just working on form and not working out, but I was really surprised at the lack of oomph. What is this Last Session?
