Absolutely! You might have the added surprise of a new scoby growing on top of your scoby-hotel-KT. As the microflora of bacteria and yeasts also live in the KT liquid, you still got a Kombucha culture albeit in liquid form. The bacteria in the liquid will continue to do what they are extra good at: Build a new scoby top mat, probably an extra beautiful one, as bubbles from a yeasty brewing activity don't disturb the surface as much. It should be plain and joyous sailing for you, !
