I loved what you said about wanting the outside to match who you are on the inside. I'll bet it already does =) When you are beautiful on the inside you can't help but be beautiful on the outside! You have very realistic and attainable goals (losing inches and a dress size or two). My goal is to get down to a size 10 (from a 12), too. I'm almost there (I'm waiting until I fit into ALL of my size 10 clothes to claim victory). You can read about my taebo journey and that of others at our web site at http://taeboon.isportsdot.com/ under " Meet the Members. " You are ready to move on to the advanced when you can do most of the moves (even if wobbly or slower) on the basic tape. You can always add the floor work from the advanced tape (it's near the end at the 40(?) minute mark to your basic work out as a transition. It gives you a great ab and butt work out, without having to worry about balance or cardio stamina or complicated moves. Tell your husband that lots of klutzes (or should I say former klutzes?) like me do taebo. I started taebo because I wanted to be able to move like the people on the informercial. I'm still slower than most people at learning the moves, but believe me if I can do it, anyone can. It just takes lots of practice. Once you get the moves down from a tape it is such a feeling of accomplishment. I feel like a different person (coordinated and graceful). Elena, who usually has to work on a new tape for 5 days to get all the moves down, but spent weeks on the studio basic and advanced at first to get the moves down. That makes perfect sense and it will happen! Tae-bo has a way of getting you to focus on the inside first....your spirit, your will, your mind......and then the outside changes will fall in to place. It will give you a sense of inner peace and confidence, as well as tone your muscles and help you lose weight! I am glad you decided to de-lurk! I think you'll love it here!
