Hello wonderful group!

I would like to ask a BIG favor. I'd like an acronym too.

JTYA. Yep, it's the same as 's.

I keep putting off going to the doc and time keeps passing.

I feel like I'm headed for a depression and I said I was

going to get back on antidepressants a month ago and I

haven't taken any action. My husband doesn't want to nag me

I guess because he doesn't want to upset me or make me

think he's upset.

I guess I just wanted to post this to make myself

accountable to someone to get some help. I'm doing ok and

I'm very aware of my illness so I try and watch my moods

and tell myself the pain will pass so I can get through.

I just feel, eventually, that I won't be able get out of

the " hole " and I really don't want to falter with my

workouts because reinventing my life in a more healthy

style is very important to me.

Thanks for being here! This will help me get going to the

doctor and take control.

This is too serious an issue to be playing fast and loose, here. Your

health is too fragile to keep waiting. Think of your doctor as your

partner in health; your partner needs to work with you to help you

regain your emotional strength. Yes, Tae-bo and healthy eating will

help immensely, but please don't neglect your medications!!

I'll be here, with the rest of your e-friends pulling for you. You

know how I know that you can do this? You're a conqueror! said

so himself just this morning.

Thanks alot ,

I guess I do tend to downplay the seriousness of this. I've

been doing the typical manic-depressive fight against meds

for a while but I've got a responsibility to myself, my

family & especially my husband, (who has to live with me),

to get honest with this.

Thanks!

Thanks Elena!

I already did the first step and got the name of the

person, in my insurance department here at work, that can

give me a list of doctors.

Now I'll just have to make a phone call & show up!

I'm pretending that this is a fun thing!!! Whoopie!

I do feel much better knowing that I'm taking this step.

Thanks again!

Judie, I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one who has that problem. They

make them too unhabit-forming. Sometimes I feel like I must be a dweeb to

forget to take something that is pretty much my mental stability. Maybe it is

just me silently revolting...saying...hey I hate having to take these things. I

know I better though.
