Guest guest
Below are some good links on Boron. Boron can be wonderful for restoring lost bone or preventing bone loss. It is also known to raise testosterone levels in a healthy fashion. Menopausal women often find their hot flashes abate with the use of Boron. In addition it can be beneficial to the thyroid. I find that if I take boron in the day time I have increased energy and I sleep better at night. If I take it late in the day it causes insomnia. I have used Tri-Boron by Twin Labs and really like it. I understand that NOW foods has one called OsteoBoron that is considered high quality. http://www.ithyroid.com/boron.htm http://www.traceminerals.com/products/boron.html http://www.healingwithnutrition.com/mineral.html The U.S. Department of Agriculture conducted a study on boron and found that within eight days of boron supplementation of 3 milligrams, the test group of postmenopausal women showed 40% less loss of calcium and 33% less loss of magnesium through their urine than before boron supplementation. In spite of this study and numerous others, boron has yet to be added to the " Essential Nutrient " list and given an RDA intake level.
