This is a private reply to the post on chemo-radiation. I removed the

persons name, to keep their privacy.

Obviously I'm not promoting chemo, but thought this persons experience

should be shared.

Blessings

Hi Donna,

I have no experience with the chemo drug mentioned in the article

quoted. But the Taxotere and Gemzar combo that I've been taking

--btw, my 12th and final treatment is this coming Friday! YAY!--is

the first thing that has completely reversed my own once-huge breast

tumor. My skin has also returned and is healing nicely. The only

adverse symptoms I've had are mild fatigue and hair loss. I'm

looking forward to regrowing my own head of hair for the summer

months--cutting my lawn while wearing a wig can be sweltering to say

the least! Not that I'm really complaining. At least I am still

here to cut the grass -- which was very doubtful last November when

my lung had collapsed due to metastases. Nothing in the alternative

line -- and I have a list of over 103 different things that I've

tried in the past 8 years`-- was successful at doing what the chemo

began to do in a matter of 3 days!!

What I'd been avoiding for so long turned out to be what saved my

life. Go figure.

Not that I would recommend that anyone else try this first. Just

that it did happen to finally be what allowed me to continue my

existence on this fair planet of ours for awhile longer.

So many good things have followed from that -- it would take too

long to list them in this reply.

I hope all continues to be well with you!

Love and blessings,
