Guest guest
Nexis™ By PHOTOSONIX® EEG Driven Photic Stimulation Purchased in 2004 from PhotoSONIX (hardware manufacturer of Roshi). Used approximately 20 times. If you want to incorporate EEG Driven Photic Stimulation into your practice, this is a great chance to do so. Will sell for $900. If you have tried finding EEG Driven equipment you know that these units are hard to come by especially in this price range. For questions, more photos, a copy of the manual, etc., email me at mr1val@... Thank you. Includes: Nexis Interface Unit Nexis Interface Control Software Battery charger 4 pairs of glasses (TruWhite pvStim, Indigo, Red pvStim, and CoolBlue pvStim) EEG Leads (gold plate discs) Red for right active (+), Black with ear clip for right reference (-), Green for left active (+), Black with ear clip for left reference (-), Blue for ground. Serial Cable: 9 pin male to female Keyspan serial to USB adapter Control Protocols: ENTRAIN causes both lenses to flash in phase. DISENTRAIN FIXED PHASE causes the right lens to flash 180 degrees out of phase with the left lense. DISENTRAIN VARYING PHASE causes the right lens to ramp its phase from zero to 180 continuously. DISENTRAIN OFFSET FREQUENCY cause the right lens to flash at 2 hertz above the discrete rate selected in the frequency drop down. DISENTRAIN RANDOM (RANGE) causes the right lens to flash at random frequencies in the range selected in the frequency drop down menu. DISENTRAIN EEG (no freq.) cause the lenses to flash at a frequency determined by a time-frequency algorithm. Control Frequencies: THETA (2-6) Range: causes Nexis to ramp up between frequencies within the 2 to 6 hertz range. The phase will be determined by the protocol selected. If ENTRAIN IS selected, both lenses will flash at the same time interval. If DISTRAIN FIXED PHASE is selected, the frequency will ramp within the 2 to 6 hertz range, but the right lens will flash 180 degres from the left. ALPHA, SMR, BETA LOW,AND BETA HIGH: each ramp up between the frequencies with the named range. In each case, phase will be determined by the protocol selected, except in the case of DISENTRIN FIXED PHASE. 1hz, 2hz, 3hz, and higher: when selected will cause Nexis to flash at that discrete frequency. The phase will be determined by the protocol selected.
