New Norvir Tablet and Side Effects...

Prior to going on Prezista plus the current Norvir capsule I was on Kaletra

tablets which included Norvir in the Meltrex formulation. I had very few

digestive issues with the Kaletra in this formula.

However, within one month of starting the old Norvir formula (which I had taken

for years before Kaletra), I started having regular digestive pain some of it

lasting for a week or more at a time. I used this as an opportunity to start

taking digestive supplements like fiber, probiotics, as well as a number of

things that through trial and error I found to help.

I usually go weeks without an incident now, but still have occasional bouts that

last about three days on average. I am hopeful that the new Norvir is close

enough to the formula in Kaletra to provide me with relief. I am a little

worried about the higher CMax but will make sure I eat a full meal with the

dose.

I guess we will all know soon enough.
