Mine has always been about 6.5 as close as I could tell. With the paper measurement, it may have been 6.4 ....... Never tested but one person that was a 7.0 and that was my 12 year old grandson. He did have one of two health problems that concerned me. 1. He had allergy reactions easily 2. He could not make EarWax. This item 2 concerned me. Never read a lot about it, but my limited knowledge, says.......... " We are supposed to make Earwax " . My production of earwax has always been good. free flowing, migrates nicely, and still does at age 69. The only thing wrong with my ears is that I cannot hear. I have a cochlear implant and can hear unbelievable well. Thanks again for the magic numbers. I can sleep better now and stop worrying about that.
