Pete,

Trying to understand your NIR HEG designs. No matter what the threshold setting

on Instrument 1 or the current ratio on Instrument 2(either above or below

baseline ratio), I still get a continuous or near continuous reward tone on AI

rise as well as % current and session AI. I also get reward tone even if HEG

gain is rising or falling. I don't understand this. What is the relationship

between AI and HEG gain? (I should note that I'm not using a game, DVD or video

for feedback, just the tone.

Also, I've noticed the highest gain meter always reads, 24,300% no matter what.

Obviously, this is not correct. What's wrong?

Finally, I can get a major HEG gain when I get a " hot flash

(I hate to use this term being a male, but that's what happens with a hormone

med I must take for prostate cancer.) Is this a real gain or just a reflection

of body temp? I suspect the latter.
