However, statins are known to have many side effects including muscle pain and weakness and memory loss. There is much research being done on this now and the evidence is pointing in favor of these symptoms as being caused by statins.Please consult with your doctor immediately. You can also do further investigations online to find out where research is being done and contact those professionals. Most will be very very glad to have a word with you.
