Guest guest
I have a question and it may be a stupid question but it has never really come up for me and was just wondering. I have been positive since 1987 and did not have to start on meds till 1996 and have been doing good ever since On July8th of this year I had my blood work done and since I was not able to go into my Doctor's office for the result when he had his appointments, I went in and got a copy of the results. Now mind you I have always gotten the results verbally by my Doctor as far as my T-Cell numbers are concerned and they have gone from a big total of 1 back in 1997 to a total of 487 (received verbally by my Doctor) taken on April 6th of this year. The last copy of my results showed me values for several T-Cell types which I am not familiar with They are as follows with the values behind them. Could someone please explain which number I really should be looking at. Total T-Cel/ul 1420 Helper T-cel/ul 547 Suppr. T-cel/ul 837 H/S Ratio 0.7 Any explanation is welcomed
