Guest guest
Hi all, after reading this news i was shocked - how is it possible a project that excludes even more vulnerable population receives financial support? This project started in US and is now in UK, a project that gives money to drug addicts and alcoholics to get sterilized. In the last 3 paragraphs, she sets out her plans to take the project to Haiti to sterilize poor women and to Africa to sterilize women living with HIV. ""Sixty Minutes" did a story on this woman and her work many years ago. She came across as sincere, and committed to helping these women. Many woman praised her for ending their cycles of pregnancies. There is a population of women producing premature drug addicted babies one after another. The children are damaged, with no future. The cost to communities is beyond calculation. The burden on the women themselves is one more thing that keeps them from getting their own lives under control.JB
