Guest guest
Dear Group, I have a friend that has been suffering from pain in his legs for quite a few years now and is at a loss to remedy the situation. He has tried and does regulary use the Chi Machine. Also, he has a rebounder and uses it as well. They do not bother him to use and do help immediately with the pain and for shortly after use but, in no time at all the pain returns. He has had been to doctors, had tests and tried many meds. Yesterday he sent the following email and I'm wonder if anyone has any ideas for him? Thanks in advance for any response. Happy Holidays! I wish everyone a safe season and much love, health and happiness in the coming year. Gypsy Rose From Jerry: I was wondering what you and or your group would reconmend for my legs, see what you can find out. I have been trying lots of things as far as exercise and meds, but they really hurt. Here's the info: mostly pain in both legs from the knee down, but some at the knee also. My shinns hurt the most a ton all the time. I have alot of pain around my entire leg from the knee down all the way to before the ankle. I have had a numbness on my outside part of my left thigh for maybe 10 months also, that is something new, but it does not hurt or stop me from doing anythng. I have tried Celetrex as well as a host of other pain meds but they really don't help. I recently tried Requip for restless leg syndrome even though I really don't move my legs alot and my legs hurt 24/7. I have a hard time standing in one spot for any lenght of time. I have tried accupuncture and needle injections to stimulate the blood in some areas but they didn't help, the accupunture really hurt in the sore spots. I have had physical therapy with exercise, ice and heat, they seems to help but took alot of time. Massage and hard shower spray make the back of my legs feel good. I had a circulation test on my legs to see if I had poor blood flow, but it came back fine. I can exercise, run for an hour and do the eliptical for long period of time, so it would seem blood is going there. It really does not seem to hurt more when I exercise or not. When I am away and don't exercise I still have the pain. I can go to the gym and run or whatever and it does not hurt anymore or less after. Actually, when I exercise the pain seems to not be there, I do not know if is that I am in the " zone " or not, but I can run, spin or whatever and that is usaully the time I don't feel the pain!! As you know, doing the Inca trail also did not seem to aggrevate my legs any, go figure!!!! Maybe you can pass the info around in your group and see what you come up with. It would be greatly appreciated!!! _________________________________________________________________ MSN Shopping has everything on your holiday list. Get expert picks by style, age, and price. Guest guest
Well, I've had some experience in the knee pain area. I mixed 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar made from Apples, 1/2 cup Raw Honey and 1 cup water, into 1 Quart Jar, usually take 1 teaspoon morn and even. That is quick, cheap and cheerful. It's also alternative. Some people take a month or more for pain to stop. It only took me three days. Also, from Standard Process, I've used Calcifood Powder mixed with Calcium Lactate Powder as a morning drink. This took four days for the pain to go away and I don't have leg or knee pain any longer. Best Regards, Obie. _____ From: oxyplus [mailto:oxyplus ] On Behalf Of gypsy rose Sent: Monday, December 18, 2006 10:12 AM oxyplus Subject: Chronic Leg Pain Dear Group, I have a friend that has been suffering from pain in his legs for quite a few years now and is at a loss to remedy the situation. Guest guest
Hi Rose, I think the first place to look is foundational nutrition. Minerals, to be specific. Calcium, magnesium, boron, potassium, sodium, and trace minerals. If his basic mineral needs are being met, then I would consider something like EFT. Guest guest
Hi. I'm including a post I sent to another group. If I were your friend I d try both a waist coil and knee coils. The post explains what I'm talking about. Good luck. Samala There is a group you can join at called Crock_Lakhovsky. That's where All this great info comes from, and photos in the photo section. But truly, These coils are so simple to make that you don't need photos. And it only Cost a couple of bucks. Go to your local hardware store and get insulated Single strand copper wire, 10 gauge--you want a SINGLE piece of copper wire Inside the insulation--not the multi-strand wire. This is used for the Waist coil. If you'd also like a neck, wrist or ankle coil you can get 12 Gauge. So far there doesn't seem to be any difference in energy from those 2 gauges, though Bob, the list owner, has been experimenting with larger Gauge wires--like 8 and 6. (lower number, thicker wire) and finding a bigger Difference there from the 10--more powerful. He has very bad neck problems With 2 degenerated disks that the docs say should be fused. He won't allow It. Before he was in constant pain and couldn't bend or turn his neck. Now he's out of pain and has full movement. People use the 12 gauge because it S a smaller diameter wire and weighs less. I use 10 gauge for my dogs, but 12 gauge for my cats collars. To make the coil all you do is measure the area to be wrapped, and add from 2 to 4 inches for a waist coil to that measurement, and only 2 inches on the Neck, wrist or ankle. Then you cut the wire to that measurement and wrap it Around you! That's it!!! You just have to be sure the ends overlap by Those few extra inches. It, the frequency, has something to do with the Overlap. You are not getting any copper in the body, like you do from Wearing copper bracelets, because you are using insulated wire so no copper Is actually touching your body. If you strip the ends of the wire, and the Ends touch any other part of bare copper, the frequency " shorts " out and you Don't get any benefit from it. So, leave the whole piece insulated. Here I Had to buy bright PINK insulated wire!! Yuck. I hate pink. Lol But, I Wear my coil under my clothes anyway, pink or no, and no one can tell I have It on. Now I will tell you that some people are more energy sensitive than I am. I Wear my coil 24/7 without any trouble at all. The more sensitive ones, like My DH, can only wear his half a day. If he wears it more than that he gets Crazy dreams, which seems to be common among the energy sensitive people. But wearing it half a day--either during the day or at night when you sleep, Pretty much stops the crazy dreams. Also, my husband has some weakening of His hands--lost some strength there. He had tests done and all they can say Is that there must be some nerve damage between his neck and shoulders. When he wears a neck coil it makes his wrists hurt, which they don't do Otherwise. So at first we were thinking the coil was CAUSING the pain--like An energy overload or something, but Bob, having gone through many, many Experiments with his hip and neck pains, thinks that perhaps the coils are Forcing some type of healing and that is causing the pain, and if you just Work through the pain (wearing the coil less at first and working your way Up to half a day) then you are actually healing the area. I believe the Coils DO heal, rather than just mask pain. For this reason--a year ago I Had some major surgery. I was cut across my stomach, from one side to the Other. I now have a feeling across the front of my stomach as if I have a Very tight belt on. There is no pain, I'm just constantly aware of the Tight belt feeling. After wearing the coil for 2 months the tight feeling Is much less now. I describe it more later. I started wearing the coil 2 months ago when I first found out about it. I Do not have any pain anywhere, but my 2 older dogs have bad arthritis when The weather changes. Sometimes they can't even stand up when it's bad. So I wanted to make coil collars for them, but wanted to test it out on myself First to make sure I wouldn't hurt them. So--understand that I had zero Expectation from the coil as I don't have any pain. I wore my coil for 3 days, and didn't feel anything at all from it. All my Adult life I have carried my tension in my shoulders and upper back. I've Done this for so long I'm no longer really aware of the tension. Just every Few days I bug my husband for a back rub to ease the stress there. So, after 3 days of wearing my coil, I was at the computer, thinking about asking him for a backrub, when I suddenly realized--I DIDN'T NEED A BACK RUB!!! No more tension in my shoulders!! I was amazed. And I knew this had to be from the coil. So I immediately made my dogs their collars. Of course, they can't say how they feel, but--in the 2 months they've been wearing their collars we have been through many weather changes. Lots of cold fronts, a couple Rains, from wet to dry, dry to wet, hot to cold, cold to hot. It's that time of year in south Texas :-) But, since wearing those collars, they have not experienced even ONE bout of arthritis. Not even limping! Plus, the older female had gone into a depression a few months ago over our new puppy. I have tried everything to get her out of the depression, but nothing worked. After just one month of wearing her coil, though, her depression is gone! She's back to her old self, running and playing with the puppy and us. I'm so glad about that, that even if the coil didn't do anything for her arthritis, it would be enough just for lifting her depression. And for the old male--he's almost 15 and sleeps most of the time. But just within the past 2 weeks--it seemed the coil took longer to effect him than it did my female--he's now got much more energy. He trots around outside like he use to, he goes all the way out back (we have 2 acres), he's not sleeping so much anymore. It's pretty darn amazing. There are many reports in our group about cats wearing coil collars and most of the elderly cats have improved in eating, energy and owners say their coats are shinier too. After about a month and a half of wearing my coil I had a doctors appt. Because I wear my coil 24/7 when I got my shower the night before the appt. I took the coil off and left it off so the doc wouldn't think I was crazy. So I went that night and all the next day without my coil. By that evening I could suddenly feel the tight belt feeling! Which meant that I had NOT been feeling it, but that the effect had been so subtle I hadn't even noticed it. Just like the tension going out of my shoulders. So subtle I hadn't noticed. As soon as I put my coil back on, after about 2 hours, the tight band feeling went away!! I have experimented these past few days, and I do think that, even with the waist coil off, the band feeling isn't near as tight as it was before I started wearing the coil. Which means that the coil is healing the scar tissue or something inside--perhaps making the nerves regenerate. I don't know. All I know is that now the feeling is completely gone when I'm wearing the coil, and when I take the coil off, the feeling isn't so intense as before I started the coil. I'm just pretty darn much amazed at what a simple piece of copper can do. To hold the animal collars on I just tape the ends together with electrical tape. It works better than masking or duct tape. For us humans, the tape was a bit messy. It would pull apart at night because I toss and turn so much, and then it leaves a sticky residue. And if you wind up only wearing it half a day, that can get to be a hassle, taping and untapping. So someone in the group found that if you go into your local auto parts store with a piece of your insulated wire, you can have them fit it to engine vacuum hose. There is a hose that fits it perfectly! But there are many different hose sizes, so be sure to have them fit it to your wire WITH the insulation on. Then get about 1 foot of hose. It's cheap too--less than a dollar. (the actual copper wire costs 43 cents a foot here) Cut 2 either 4 or 6 inch pieces of hose from that foot long piece, and slide one piece of hose over one of the copper ends. Tape that into place securely. Then take the other piece of hose you cut -- I use 4 inch pieces on mine because I can't push the wire in any farther than that-- and Set it under or over the other hose, and tape it into place on the other hose/wire, leaving one end open. So, now you have one wire embedded in one hose and taped into place, and the other piece of hose taped to the first piece of hose. With that end open you can now slide your other insulated copper end into, and easily out of, that hose. This will hold it in place all night--even with my tossing. And it's easy to take off if you only want to wear it half a day. So there you have it. For less than $3 you can have something that can help eliminate all sorts of pain--especially joint pain. Like a lady said, who has been wearing a coil off and on for over 20 years, this coil won't stop tooth pain. You still have to go in and have the tooth taken care of. But for most other pain, this is perfect. Plus, she believes it has an accumulative healing effect too. Because she's worn hers for so long, she said that she believes it shortened her healing time from 2 falls. She fell quite hard, twice, and both times the next day she was without pain. One of the falls felt so bad she thought she might have broken her wrist, but the next day--nothing! She attributes it to the effect of having worn the coil so much. For those of you interested you can google Lakhovsky. He also made other types of coils that you can make yourself and play around with, though they are more complicated and not worn, but used as healing devices. If you see people selling copper bracelets as Lakhovsky devices, these are NOT his type of devices. Yes copper bracelets have their own healing energy, but it's much less than the regular coil. So, try it for yourself. Even if you don t have any pains--give it a try. Many people report a general all round feeling of happiness when wearing theirs--just like it lifting depression in my dog. -------Original Message------- I have a friend that has been suffering from pain in his legs for quite a Few years now and is at a loss to remedy the situation.
