Guest guest
You could try contacting larry at bioexplorer for a replacement, I am not sure how responsive his is these days. Guest guest
Unfortunately you have to buy a brand new one at full price. I have already had two of mine come apart. The insides come out of the plastic. I think they just get worn from use and the plastic starts to crumble. Sent from my iPad
Guest guest
If you send back the broken one Larry will replace it for about $50.~ “The life i touch for good or ill will touch another life, and in turn another, until who knows where the trembling stops or in what far place my touch will be felt.†~Frederick Buechner From: "Sharrie" <drsharrie@...> Sent: Monday, March 19, 2012 10:00:49 PMSubject: Re: Broken Aladin Hasp Unfortunately you have to buy a brand new one at full price. Guest guest
Hi Steve -- when mine broke a couple years ago I was able to solder the end of a usb cable to the hasp connectors..and then I epoxied the hek out of it all. It has held together fine. USB only uses four connectors so I recall it was pretty easy solder job. Ian > > I'm wondering if anyone knows what to do about a broken Bioexplorer Hasp? Please advise. Guest guest
Get a USB hub. Plug your hasp and (in many cases) the input from your amplifier (cable or dongle) into the hub. You can unplug that a thousand times and never stress the hasp at all. Also harder to lose it.
