I was making chili... cutting, chopping and enjoying my BRAND NEW Chef quality knives I had bought. Onions ... done... bell pepper....done... I mean these knives cut through EVERYTHING like they're going through hot butter! Then I'm watching my pot, stirring.. ... I start mincing my Jalepeno Pepper.... very fine mince, so the kids don't go screaming and running out the door that Mom has attempted to kill them in some nuclear fashion.... I turn, while mincing with that big 8 " chef's knife, only to look back at my hand, realizing I'd chopped off the top of my thumb... oh... and don't you know THAT burned! They tried to attach the tip of my thumb, but ultimately it fell off.... oh well, it's back now and my knives are dull as sin.... time to get them SHARPENED!
