HEG Variance Across the Forehead

I just got my HEG. I've been using it at least once a day, for five minutes, on

the right side, middle and left side of my forehead. The right and middle climb

from mid-range up to yellow/white steadily. The left side stays unmoving in the

blue area, although the AI Current percentage stays around 100%.

So am I brain dead on the left side or what? And where the right and middle were

quickly responsive, the left is definitely stultified, is there anything I can

do to give my frontal lobe a kick in its left lobal rump?

Any suggestions?

Lissa,Try shifting your training order.  Start with the left side in one session, right side in the next, center in the next, etc.  The PFC is not like an icecube tray with lots of little compartments, so when you activate it, increasing blood supply and oxygenation, in one area, there is an effect in all areas.  It's very common for the second site trained to be harder to raise or sustain that the first; many people find the third site to be nearly impossible to change in early sessions.

Use the newer designs I just posted so you aren't using the " rainbow " graph.  That seems to confuse everyone if you do all three sites in the same session, pausing between them, as I like to do.  The colors in that graph relate simply to where you are relative to the range of the graph.  If you have a high level of activity in the first (or second) training segment and a low one in the third, the third one will always be in the black or blue, since it's at the bottom of the graph.  When the high values roll off the screen, the graph redraws itself, and all of a sudden your " low " values will turn red and yellow.  Also, changing the scale of the graph can make changes at lower levels much clearer.

If you started walking/jogging to improve your condition, you wouldn't necessarily spend a lot of energy worrying about how fast you went or any other " performance measures " .  We know that aerobic exercise results in changes just from DOING it.  Same with HEG.  Don't worry too much about your " performance " during the training.  Focus and find out how to raise the graph and sustain the higher level.  The real place to see the changes is in your life.
