Guest guest
For the past 5 years I've been successfully working with a young man who had a severe brain injury. Prior to his TBI from a MVA, he had a history of seizures. He is currently doing well, however due to his recurrent seizures, which are usually happening when he is working out in the gym, his memory is being affected. He takes 500 mg of Tegretol twice a day, He also takes Lamictal, which I believe is 400 mg twice a day. He could not come in today for his session because he had another seizure. His mother wrote that he went to the Daybreak for lunch/breakfast that day, however, he was a little off mentally that morning. After the Daybreak he was going to go to the mall and then to the gym and he kept asking his mom what he had to do. He is not sleeping well either. When he fell during the seizure he hurt his hip/butt and was in alot of pain last night. I just realized I have not done a QEEG on him in a while. We are using the LENS, yet he see the Neurofield helping him in his memory and speech. We are doing 8 to 19 channel zscore training. He is on a brain diet of reduce sugar. I said to his mom, I believe we need to focus on control of seizures to help reduce the brain fog and memory problems. I anyone has any suggestions or advice, it is truly welcomed. Happy Holidays, Diane
