Guest guest
I am interested in the neurobit 4 channel amp, which I saw on Brain-trainer I am charmed because it can als do HRV , GSR and more. And that without the high costs with will be charged by brainmaster if I want to upgrade my atlantis. But the price is so low that it makes me think about the quality. Has anybody any experience with this amp, I will mainly be using it for neurofeedback but the peripheral functions appael to me. Guest guest
Rob,You can buy very high-quality cars for $25,000 or for $75.000. The fact that there is one that costs 2-3 times as much as another doesn't mean the lower priced car has something wrong with it. The short answer to your question is that we don't sell stuff we don't recommend. For years Neurobit produced the Neurobit Lite, which was a fine amp but only 1 channel, and we didn't sell it. The Optima2 and Optima4 are excellent amps, and, as you note, they have features that the BrainMasters don't have. Years ago, in the late 90's and early 2000's, BrainMaster competed in--and owned--the low cost end of the market, though their amps in those days were not very good by today's standards. Then they began moving " uptown " , increasing the quality of their amps but increasing the cost even more. They now want to complete with Thought Technology and J & J on the price end of the field, not with Focus and Pendant and other excellent low-priced amps. I think you'll be very happy with the Neurobit4. And shortly you'll be able to do assessments in 4 channels and process them and enter them into the TLC7 4 channels at a time. We're also updating the TLC Designs package for 4C to take advantage of some of the potential benefits of training in 4C. Guest guest
Yes, in BioExplorer. You can run the Atlantis is BE, though you'll have to pay an additional $100 to BrainMaster to get one of their " unlock codes " . Also, if you are using a 4-channel Atlantis, you'll only be able to use BioExplorer with 2 of them--BrainMaster creates this limitation. So if you are looking at a 4C Optima vs. a 4C Atlantis--aside from the very significant price difference for the amps--your software cost will be higher with the Atlantis and you won't really be able to get the benefit of 4C in BioExplorer. pete-- Van Deusenpvdtlc@...http://www.brain-trainer.com USA 678 224 5895BR 47 3346 6235The Learning Curve, Inc.
