Guest guest
There is a product on the market that I'm using for HIV patients that is all natural. Its only for Poz people not on antivirals. I have met two people that are long term survivors (20yrs plus) that are currently taking this product and doing well. This product is sold at the New York Buyers Club. From: Jim S <jim98122x@...>Donnell <hu_06_11@...>Sent: Wed, November 17, 2010 1:32:54 AMSubject: Re: natural antiviral treatments. Stable for one year is nothing to be confident about. You could easily drop 100 or 200 T-cells in 3 months or even less. Trust me, I know because I've done it. There are no "natural" remedies that work. If there were, don't you think everyone would be on them? When you only have 390, a loss of 200 could be catastrophic. On the other hand, with a good combination with minimal side effects, you could easily go to 600 or 700 tcells within 3 to 6 months. The decision is up to you, but the evidence is pretty clear that one of the best indicators of how well you can do is the nadir, or lowest point your T-cells get to, before you start treatment. Also, because some drugs do not work as well on lower-Tcell patients as others, by delaying your treatment till your T-cells are lower, you will be eliminating some drugs from your potential arsenal which you might have needed later. There are no "natural" remedies that work. If there were, don't you think everyone would be on them? Natural things you can do to help your T-cells are to drink less (or not at all); not smoke; and don't do party drugs. But those are not enough, you still need meds. From: Donnell <hu_06_11@...>Subject: Re: natural antiviral treatments."Jim98122x" <jim98122x@...>Date: Tuesday, November 16, 2010, 8:15 PMthanks for the reply. my tcells has been at this number since diagnosed. Guest guest
Dante, it is NOT TRUE that you have a CCR5 deletion if you do not have symptoms after 20 years! It’s a likely explanation, but not a sure thing. I’m a lifelong slow progressor and had no symptoms for over 20 years before I started meds. I don’t have the CCR5 deletion.Bob From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of DanteSent: Wednesday, November 17, 2010 10:59 AMDonnell ; Subject: Re: HIV - NO Meds If someone is POZ for 20 years + and not having HIV symptoms they are one of the eclusive CCR5 GENEclub memebers two sets of that allele allow you to be a non progressor- If your of eastern european ancestry you may have a chance at having one of those CCR5 genes in you because your T cells are low and there is virl load measurable in your body! Therefore you cannot have TWO of them the good thing about one CCR5 gene si that you will be able to las t longer on meds then most others! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CCR5 that link explains that you have HIV og to a regualr doctor and do supplemntal stuff and stay positive 22 years here and the only thing that saved me from certain death was te cocktial!
