The ADAP crisis continues to grow among southerner. Southerners make up 93% of individuals on ADAP waiting lists in the US.

   Number of individuals on ADAP waiting lists in Southern States Florida: 1,796 individuals Georgia: 553 individuals Kentucky: 227 individuals Louisiana: 439 individuals**

 

North Carolina: 36 individualsSouth Carolina: 148 individuals Advocacy Action RequestCALL, SEND A LETTER, EMAIL ORATTEND A CAMPAIGN EVENT  - Contact any candidates that is running for elected office in November

 - Contact your current elected officials - Contact your local newspapers, television stations and radio station news departments - Ask your local AIDS Service Organization to write an Op-Ed for your local newspaper
