Guest guest
As many of you know, I work with the Aids Clinical Trial Group, a division of the NIH as a community representative. The ACTG has a research station in Port au Prince, which has been severely damaged, but which is still functioning, although there has been loss of life and it seems most have lost their homes. If you would like to donate to an organization specifically dealing with HIV/AIDS in Haiti, I recommend the following via a note from the ACTG:"hi all, Some of you have asked where you can direct contributions following the earthquake in Haiti. You may not have seen it but Dr.Benson included a website where you can donate through Cornell, the ACTG sister site to GHESKIO. I am reattaching that message in its entirety. The Cornell unit has established a mechanism through their website to assist in donations to Haiti and GHESKIO." http://weill.cornell.edu/globalhealth/
