Guest guest
I work on a neurology unit. We tell the parents to use acetone or finger nail polish remover or an adhesive remover for tape if able to find in the stores. Some parents say baby oil helps loosens and softens the gel. Best of luck! Guest guest
I had to remove Henry's 24hour EEG last year because he came down with chicken pox during the test and could not return to the hospital to have the electrodes removed. I poured (carefully) finger nail polish remover over his hair. There was still residue for days but we got most of it out. Guest guest
There are different kinds of glue they use. When my son had a 24-hour, they used the kind that washes out. When he had a 3-day, they started out with that kind, but he was sweating so much the electrodes were coming undone so they used the heavy duty stuff. I didn't want to use any chemicals to remove it so we just let it grow out enough to get his hair cut! - BBsmart2@... wrote: I poured (carefully) finger nail polish remover over his hair.
