Guest guest
If it is necessary to do this, it would be good to do the second day as close to the same time as the previous day as possible. There are some ultradian rhythm differences that affect proportional brainwave amplitudes. Ed Delayed Full Assessment Does anyone see problems with performing a partial assessment one day and compeleting it another day because of time constraints? Guest guest
Yes, I see a big problem with it. Much of the TLC is based on comparisons between sites. While trying to do the same time may help, body rhythms don't necessarily run on a neat 24-hour clock--and things like sleep, meals, emotional experiences, etc. can change things from one day to the next. To do the basic 6 site assessment shouldn't take more than about 45 minutes--18 minutes of recording, maybe 15-20 minutes for electrode placement and movement and a few minutes for explanation. If a client can't sit still for that long, then probably training HEG and SMR as a starting point to improve control functions is a better idea than doing the assessment. I do, with people who have difficulty with the sitting, allow them to get up and move around a little or stretch between recordings in extreme cases. It's not impossible to gather the assessment as you suggest, but you leave the door open for some false readings if you do so.Pete-- Van Deusen pvdtlc@...http://www.brain-trainer.comUSA 678 224 5895BR 47 3346 6235The Learning Curve, Inc.
