Guest guest
Meditation and NFB Hello I am new on this forum, my name is Frans van den Berg, from the Netherlands. Tomorrow I am starting with NFB twice a week (http://www.biometrischcentrum.nl and http://www.brainmarker.com/). Since I am a psychologist myself, I am considering using this in my practise myself, and therefore I first want to experience it myself (although I am using intuïtive readings as the base treatment: http://www.hantayo.nl/psychologist-denhaag.html). The way it is administered to me is what you might call the classic NFB? Just measuring the different activity of the waves in the parts left/right/front/back of the brain, and then trying to adjust it to 'normal' activity. I notice I am a bit suspicious about the reliability of making a diagnosis. I read on the internet that just meditating everyday will also improve the way your brain acts resulting in 'better' waves and more harmony between them. Is there a risk that by changing things locally that the functionallity of the overal brain diminishes? Or does NFB does thi
