Guest guest
You may have to " hook up " the beeps, clicks and mp3 files the first time you use a design. If you don't hear beeps or clicks when you should, go to the Score object and verify that Enable is checked. Then click the ... to the right of the Sound field and navigate to the appropriate sound in YOUR media folder. When using Alpha Theta, which uses MP3 sounds, select each of the Audio Players in the Objects menu and, if the file shows a red X in front of it, Remove it, then Add the file from your Media folder. In either case, after doing this with a design, choose Save from the design menu, so it will keep the connection.Pete-- Van Deusenpvdtlc@... http://www.brain-trainer.comUSA 678 224 5895BR 47 3346 6235The Learning Curve, Inc. Am I supposed to put the proper dings, etc. in there manually, or does the design " know " to grab the sounds it needs automatically? Thanks for any help and, again, this Manual, the new Designs, etc., are amazing. Guest guest
Pete, Another question is: with all the feedback sounds playing, to train down hot temporals and other fast activity, would you have the client watch a video during training (silent, I know), or play some calming music alongside the tones, or just use the tones that " go " with the design alone? I don't want to overstimulate the brain, but I also don't want the client to be obsessively paying attention to the feedback tones, trying to " make things happen. " Thanks, Liz On Jul 11, 2012 9:58 AM, " pvdtlc " <pvdtlc@...> wrote: You may have to " hook up " the beeps, clicks and mp3 files the first time you use a design. Guest guest
If you have set your targets properly, you should hear music and another melody with some chimes. It's very calming. If your clients are trying to " figure it out " , you aren't coaching them properly. Pete-- Van Deusenpvdtlc@...http://www.brain-trainer.com USA 678 224 5895BR 47 3346 6235The Learning Curve, Inc.
