Guest guest
We hope to release the TLC7a, artifacting version of the TLC7, early next week. If you use the TLC do do assessments, PLEASE DOWNLOAD the attached file and replace any other " Gather " designs on your computer. If you don't get emails of posts to BrainTrainer, you'll need to download the file. Foxx will post shortly with where is the best place to do this. The TLC7a will have the capacity to automatically artifact ALL your asssessment files in a single pass--giving you the ability to go in and make adjustments if you wish. To be able to click a couple buttons on the TLC7 Excel file before standing up to remove electrodes and have all your data brought into the file, artifacted and graphs drawn before you reach the client is an amazing experience. I've attached a couple nice mapsets from recent assessments, showing a very hot cingulate.and a frontal head injury. Stay tuned.Pete -- Van Deusenpvdtlc@...http://www.brain-trainer.comUSA 678 224 5895BR 47 3346 6235 The Learning Curve, Inc. 2 of 2 Photo(s) Maps TLC7 Hot cingulate.jpg 1 of 1 File(s) TLC7 Assess Pro Gather.bxd
Guest guest
Pete, will we need to purchase the TLC7a artifact file or is it going to be available to everyone? Guest guest
,Since it's so much more powerful than anything we've had before, you'll have to purchase it. It will cost $195 for unlimited use. Those who have ever purchased previous artifacting files will be credited the $60 they spent for those files. The purchase option will be on the brain-trainer.com website as soon as the file is available. Anyone who already has the artifacting file will be able to continue to use it to process their data and load it manually into the TLC7 using their current artifacting file. With the TLC7a, you'll save your data into a single folder (session files, as you always have), naming them to include the name of the channel1 site (e.g. F3, Fz, P3, etc.). BE will automatically produce the files to be artifacted. When you open TLC7a, you'll have the option of choosing Quick Select to tell the file which folder has your data. The artifacting file will load the files into the proper lines (giving you the option to change them if you wish), and when you click to Process Data, it will artifact and provide you with a report telling the percent of each file EO, EC and Task that passed the artifacting. Any that pass less than 50% will be rejected, and you'll see a list of those. If you believe the artifacting targets were incorrect, you'll have the option of resetting them manually and rerunning the report. For example, on the Hot Cingulate and Head Injury files I sent earlier, those areas were screened out by the automatic artifacting. By looking at the report, I could see that all midline sites had been rejected in all three conditions (hot cingulate). I was pretty sure that wasn't right, and I looked at the Bioexplorer files and saw that they simply had a lot more fast activity. In the head injury, I saw that all the files in a particular area had been rejected, and again I could see that they were not artifact. By changing the artifact target, I was able to get those files to pass. So far I'd say about 85% of the files I've used it on have worked perfectly (sometimes screening out an F3/F4 Task or something that really has artifact in it). Once you accept the artifacting results, the files are loaded, and the assessment is complete.Pete-- Van Deusenpvdtlc@... http://www.brain-trainer.comUSA 678 224 5895BR 47 3346 6235The Learning Curve, Inc.
