Bill Ainscow, 75, drowned off Tenerife two years ago but wife survived the suicide bid. In April 2005, she went back to Tenerife and made a second unsuccessful suicide attempt. On Saturday, she returned to the Canary Islands, where she was pulled from the sea. She was recovering in hospital yesterday. , 65, of Merseyside claimed she was in despair at trying to care for her daughter, who has Asperger's syndrome.
