Alpha Synchrony and Insomnia Issues

Would the Alpha Synchrony protocol work at FZ+OZ with linked ears reference? I

am trying to downtrain beta and encourage more alpha, but I want something that

will help with sleep onset insomnia. I have tried SMR training at C4 and it

doesn't help--at all. I have tried uptraining alpha at T4 and other sites, but

while that helps my mood, alpha up seems to make the insomnia worse.

Downtraining beta doesn't seem to have any effect on sleep either, although it

does help overall with mood issues/anxiety. I'd like en effective 2 channel

protocol that might help insomnia. My assessment shows high beta everywhere,

some slight reversal in the front (but not drastic), and slight locking

issues(not overwhelming, but a bit too much coherence in some bands).

That's a long way from Fz to Oz.  Coherence probably won't be very good.I'd try P4/A2/g/Oz/A2, use the Options--2C design and choose 2-6 and 13-38 as your inhibit bands in both channels.  Train eyes closed.
