A friend of a friend did that, he had cancer... he didn't complain but you could see the 'look' of not feeling good on his face. I'm really sorry for your dog.. Things like that I can normally keep a cool head about, like the type of dog, previous encounters, (if any), bit people before ,etc... but if there was no call for it... I have genotype 1a and i got it from my nine yr olds father, he showed me how to do IV drugs and he had it, he knew and didnt tell me. So he shared his needles with me. What is your genotype and how much damage do you have? did you have a biopsy? Tell your boyfriend THANK YOU for serving our country! I WILL keep him in my prayers, thats for sure.. Please feel free to ask any questions, we try to help as much as we can. What we can advocate is that you keep a copy of ALL your labs at home in a file.. your doc HAS to give them to you if you ask.. that way if you come up with something that we might be able to help you with, you will have the labs to refer too.. Sometimes the docs office staff wont give you the numbers if you call them on the phone , so its just easier to keep copies of everything at home.. once again, welcome! I am Jax ( Jackie) one of the 4 mods/co-owners. I have been SVR now for 4 years so treatment does work.. I used to be a paramedic but had to quit while on tx because of the side effects and it became very impossible to continue working the paramedic job as its very physical and we worked 24 hours at a time.. Liz is our researcher who also was a paramedic.. anne is our Australian momma who took care of her husband who had hep c and passed away from it and even tho she doesnt have hep c, she has stayed to help us which we greatly appreciate and then Janet is the original owner and hostess of this forum,, she has hep c and is treating again. Tell your son thank you, its amazing the overwhelming fear and pride that u have as they go off to war. My honey has been 6 times b4 and he has the most dangerous job in the Marine Corps....but i try my best to remain positive and my kids and I pray for him and the rest of our troops everyday. Thank you for the welcome. I have been overly emotional lately becuz of the news of my Marine having to leave again and I told him I was getting on my own nerves, lol.
