This is a question I am going to ask our psychiatrist, but I thought

I'd see if anyone here has some answers also. My son just started

Zoloft (50 mg) almost 2 weeks ago. It seems that we are seeing

positive results, although I'm not sure if he's just calmer because of

the school holidays or if it's really the Zoloft.

I am about to make his 6 month dental appointment. He has always been

petrified of the dentist and the past few times, we've used the

laughing gas for cleanings. The laughing gas has made a huge

difference. Now I'm wondering what we should do since he's on

Zoloft. #1) Is it safe to have the laughing gas while on Zoloft and

#2) I'm wondering if the Zoloft will help him so that we don't even

need the laughing gas. (I'm sure there is a more technical term

than " laughing gas " but that's what we always call it!)
