I have information for . I have directly asked Dr. Goldberg what

Ritalin, Dexedrine, Adderall, Etc. type meds do to blood brain flow.

They slow it down. If you have high or low blood flow to the

pre-frontal lobes, you will have problems with attention and memory and

other things but I can't remember all. So if you have a child with low

blood flow you certainly don't want to give one of these drugs! I

recently did NeuroSPECT scans on both my daughters and one had high

blood flow and the other was low

I feel that better medication recommendations can now be made. A great

place to read more about these scans is www.brainplace.com. I know Dr.

G doesn't generally prescribe stimulants or tricyclic anti-depressants.

I did find the brain scans to be very helpful.

Take care and regards,
