JUST VENTING AND NOT EVEN SURE WHAT THE HELL SSI IS UP TO .

UGH!! I HAVE BEEN GETTING SSI FOR MY KIDS SINCE LIKE 1999 AND 2000.

WHEN MY X WAS LIVING WITH ME I WAS TOLD MY X AN EARN UP TO 2100,HE

WAS MAKING ABOUT 1800, BEFORE HIS INCOME WOULD LOWER THE SSI WE HAVE

HAD THE SSI LVING WITH HIS INCOME TIL 2004 WHEN HE LEFT AND MY CHILD

SUPPORT FOR MY SON TYLER. WE HAVE BEEN LIVING LIKE THIS FOR YRS .I

ALSO CALLED EVERYTIME SOMETHING WAS DIFFERENT . WELL THEY CALL AND

UPDATE THEIR INFO ON SAT TODAY I GET THE PAPER STATING MY SONS SSI IS

BEING lowered .combined it will be 114 lowering .welli call the ssi

office .now here is the bitch. they are counting my sons child support

as income unearned income. so with that income and the fact we are

only 5 people in the house it got lowered .she couldnt tell me what we

can earn up to with unearned income before it will interefere with

their ssi.

so when my x lived with me and we were a fmaily of six with an income

of 1800 and unearned support of 199 we got the full amount

but now that we are a family of 5 with no income and an unearnred

support of 199 and 350 = 549

and we are losing 114 dollars from the total of both boys ssi. how

does this make any kind of sense.

i am barely making ends meet here now i got shut off notices for my

gas electric phone cable internet (its combined) i have my car sitting

on empty most of the month cuz i have no gas and no money.i have to

screw bills just to buy shampoo for gods sake and now the money is

going to be even lower.now this woman is supposed to call me back and

tell me why they are taking the money.i asked about what we can go up

to before it will take money away .well she told me she will have to

work it out becuase with me having 2 kids on it so it is omplicated.i

find this hard to believe because my kids have child support totaling

of 549 a month that i am going to lose 114 off of it .yet when my x

lived here we made 1800(sometimes more) and it didnt effect it one way

or another.

i am so pissed off right now.i am a divorced mother of 4 kids 2 of

which have the autism and mr trying to make it trying to pay my bills

and rasie my kids .this is bullshit there has to be a mistake here

somewhere .i have a call into my sons family based people and i will

call tomorrow the case manager of my kids in mr and mh and see if

they can help me.but if they (ssi) decide that this is correct i do

not know what i am going to do .i barely making it now.( i already owe

4 months back rent )ugh why is this happening?when is the bullshit

going to stop? i cannot even get a job cuz if i did it will affect

things and the job will just replace the ssi and food stamps i lose

..and i still got to worry bout child care and car and gas.all this to

break even with what i had before .it seems like the only way i am

going to get out of this is either win the lottery or marry a rich man

..thing is i dont play the lottery and i dont date for money (not that

there is any where i live anyway I live in a poor area)
