Whenever my son isn't feeling good - difficulty with a medication,

allergies really bad, just before he gets sick, alot of stress in his

life (school) - his sensory issues get really bad. We have lots of crash

and bang and his defensiveness increases (mostly tactile and auditory).

Hi All,

Just wanted to put my 2 cents in about the Kutapressin! After being

completely freaked about giving my wee one a shot it has turned out to be

very positive and has helped him to be very healthy! We have our bright

little wonder back and I for one have had a good and positive exprerience

with this med! Good luck!

I checked in to Kutapressin a great deal. Try to get a copy of

Ablashi DV, Berneman Z, Lawyer C, Komaroff A. Kutapressin inhibits in

vitro infection of Human Herpesvirus Type 6 [Abstract]. Clinical

Infectious Diseases 1994; 18(Supp 1): S113.

This is the only publised work of anything killing off HHV6 in vitro

To the Mom who had the problem, I would be more worried you kicked up

the virus. Perhaps causing more harm. Knowing Dr. G I am surprisd he

just didn't cut it back a might. But it sounds like it was your

choice to discontinue the med.

I've talked to many parents with great sucess. I've heard they are

now writing up articles with now normal NeuroSpect scans from this.

Bun

Our child used Kutapressin for a few years and it was a great drug. It took a

few months after we began giving it to see any results. The results are slow

and gradual. We experienced no quick change, but rather steady improvement.
