Guest guest
Aimee jumped up on my desk as I sat here and was meowing at me and looking out the window right before the quake hit. I suppose she noticed it before me. Jo didn't notice it until *after* I posted, what's up with that? It was going from the NW toward the SE and that is the direction Jo is from me, right Jo? I mean, unless you were out and about. You said you were at your Mom's. I thought it was a truck going by at first and soon in disbelief realized it was a quake, my first. I watched the blinds shake, opened them to look outside, had the urge to run outdoors because I felt as though my house was going to fall on me, but NEVER thought or remembered the doorway thing. Sheesh! The pool sloshing over the sides and watering the lawn was awesome! I wish I had been in the water and enjoying the ride! You said you were at your Mom's. ======================= Yes silly girl I was out and about...lol...you did post before me but I'm sure we felt it at about the same time. Talking about your cat acting funny just before it happened. On the Dairy if you were paying attention to the cows you could tell it was going to happen. Same with pets. Just for the record Marta...what we felt in Bako was extremely mild...a nice soft rolling quake. You don't ever want to be at the center. But I know you know that.
