Guest guest
,I've never quite gotten the idea that marking up an undersized styrofoam head would in ANY way prepare a person to find sites on a real head!! Seems like trying to learn to drive by pushing a matchbox car around on a map. Real heads are all different sizes and shapes, and therein lies the challenge of finding the sites. I've attached the Starting with BrainTraining file that you should have received. The first thing it suggests is to get a partner. If you honestly can't find anyone in your circle of friends, family, colleagues et al who might be interested in brain training, then it does become more complicated, but it's still possible to practice on yourself. Of course the little elastic band doesn't work so well if you can't actually see it (i.e. on your own head) I don't think there's a whole lot anyone can tell you about hands-on tasks. That's why we made the video, to actually SHOW it (with nary a styrofoam head in sight). A little bit of practice on your own or someone else's head will hopefully move you past this initial resistance point. I hope you don't mind, I am going to vent some frustration. I bought a styrofoam head to practice measuring and plotting the training points on. It isn't working out. Of course my dummy head had no anchor points or ears so it has been a guess from the beginning. Now that I have been working with it for more hours than I care to admit, it looks more like the replica of a alien gray than a human. (Not that I have ever seen a gray alien) At this point I'm thinking of giving up on the measuring idea and jump to the elastic method. How did you all get started with this? Surly, I'm not the only one who has been frustrated by this stage of understanding. Please, this frustration has nothing to do with TLC. Pete and company have been great and I am reasonable confident from the conversations in this forum that he/they would hold my hand through this if I asked. I would rather hear how others worked through this. Thanks, 1 of 1 File(s) Starting with Brain Training.pdf

Guest guest
Hi , My name is Mark Schwartz and I am the director of the Learn From the Best program that offers various online classes on the use of bio-neurofeedback equipment for health professionals who seek help such as yourself. Our real-time online courses are led by experienced professionals and other experts in this area. For putting on the electrodes the only tip I found it helpful to practice on my own head. I found this helpful even though it was frustrating. Good luck and don`t give up. Sincerely, Mark Schwartz BFE-LFB Program Director
